CITY OF LOVE; PARIS 2015...Part 1

Earlier on this month i was able to visit the city of love and lights , Paris with a bunch of friends and see all the lovely sights of the capital. We started of with the Notre-Dame. It is one of the most beautiful historic Catholic Cathedral in Paris built with the true definition of attention to detail.

We also got to see the LOURVE. One of the not to miss sights in Paris. It is possibly the most notorious museum in the world with an astonishing collection. The weather was too hot too hot on this day, I have had enough heat, while my girl friends went into different rooms to see the different collections, I went and found a nice cool cafe and sat down to have cuppa.
Museum  is not really my thing in any case. The first and last time I went into the museum was on my last year of Primary School. As a School trip. Hang on, I thought I would make it my old age hobby so I better start now. Lol

The beautiful pictures below were taken  not far from the Cathedral.

These beautiful Golden gates are on CHAMPS ÉLYSÉES Avenue!! I love love love this street!

I couldn't deal with the heat anymore.My next visit will be in Winter. Infant it was on this day that i decided my next holiday will be an All-Inclusive, beach Holiday. Just like what I had in Turkey.

                                                 Thank God for my very big scarf!!

IHS Gabs 95-98 Re-Union Part 3

The day had arrived when we all had to go back to our respective homes, holidays surely don't last forever!!!! Initially we had hoped to set of early but with emotions flying high we soon lost track of time. In such a short while we had rekindled the bond that we all had as friends n not just classmates.

Personally i felt reconnected with them on a different level an amaizing one at that and we were all saddened that it would be atleast a year before we could see each other again.

The class of 1998 was such a big one and full of character. Some had passed on, some like myself are working abroad and the rest still practise in Botswana. i applaud whoever who came up with the re union idea that made us all meet up despite the geographical constraints.

A  lot of people couldn't make it but the few that came really had a blast!! This was only the beginning! We have greater plans! I am like a child looking forward to Christmas. I Really  can't wait for the next Re-Union.

Okey, talk about ceasing the moment! While they were all busy loading bags in the cars I had a mini photoshoot.

driving back just by the road side we saw this beautiful rock, let me just say I thank the photographer for the patience. ..

After jumping off and on again into the car, it wasn't too long that we saw the most beautiful river. But at this point the groups driving before us has lost the patience.  I am sorry, thats so wrong! You got to stop to see this beauty.

                                        The beautiful THUNE RIVER below;

These are the few that attended the 2015 IHS Class 95-98 Re-Union. We made history.
